| Farm | A physical location housing one or more flocks. |
| Flock | A group of birds of one breed on one farm; source of hatching eggs. Named like EE-7-ANDREW H. |
| Flock Production | Egg/hatch output records for a flock over time. |
| Hatch Date | The date chicks hatch and become available to ship. |
| Hatch Plan | Projected vs. actual hatch quantities by date, used to schedule and fulfill orders. |
| Mailing Address | The address record reached via a contact; used for ship-to state. |
| NPIP | National Poultry Improvement Plan — the U.S. certification program the hatchery participates in. |
| Next Ship Date | The NextShipDate field — the date an order is scheduled/fulfilled against; primary ship-date filter. |
| Package Type | The physical container/configuration chicks ship in; carries capacity and fill rules. |
